Wendy F. Byrum, 51, of Roanoke Rapids, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in the afternoon at home among loved ones after a long battle against cancer.

Wendy left behind many family and friends to cherish her memories and morn her loss, including her two children, Danielle and Bristol; two grandchildren, Cienna and Cyanne; two brothers, Daryl and Brian; her sister, Lynn; a life partner, Jonathan; her mother, Faye Dunlow; and all of her school family and children as well.

Ms. Byrum's Mother will be carrying out a Memorial Service at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services chapel on Friday, August 25th at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Ricky Jordan officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial, where her ashes will be scattered with Wendy's children and other loved ones.
